If we lack infinite time/monkeys and typewriters then AI is the next best thing.

Fun Jobs Never Last

The really cool jobs become tedious bores as soon as I get hired. If I got a job as a pie taster I would be replaced by a pie-tasting machine. On top of that, I would have to produce prodigious amounts of paperwork regarding each pie the machine tasted.

The opposite goes for all the tedious jobs I used to hold in the field of education which required prodigious amounts of paperwork, mainly to feed the insatiable machine of the educational industrial complex. Within six months of my retirement from education, ChatGPT is released to the public. ChatGPT can produce a reasonable facsimile of any piece of paperwork you don’t want to write.

ChatGPT Arrives Too Late For My Amusement

Shortly after the release, I had the first useful update from our company’s tech guru that I ever attended. At that time very few schools even knew about ChatGPT. Ignorance is bliss because the schools were in hysterics within a few months. The students realized the impact of ChatGPT from day one. The early adopters of all technology are smart-ass students.
